Her family and colleagues started to notice the difference. She looked more in shape & younger. She dressed differently too and obviously felt great. What was going on?
What had transformed this former wallflower into a beautiful and confident woman?
The way to building inner confidence and self-belief always includes setting goals that appear beyond your current
capabilities and working towards them in a consistent and committed manner until you achieve them. This can be accomplished in all manner of ways - yes, even weight lifting.
In my role as fitness trainer I have experienced first-hand through my own lifting and seeing my clients’ successes in reaching their goals, that getting strong in the gym and improving their performance through strength training will reveal just how much they can do and hence, foster greater self- confidence.
Through safe, knowledgeable, determined and regular training I’ve seen my clients achieve amazing results, lift weights they never thought possible and push through
fears. And once they have been able to break through goal barriers around their fitness, they were able to transfer these skills to other areas of their lives. You women especially are not aware of how strong you really can become.
Also, when your clothes start looking even greater on you,
it’s a confidence booster: when you fill out your jeans with sculpted glutes, when the back of your arms don’t wiggle and you are happy wearing short sleeves, feeling proud of your commitment to your health, your body, your temple, yourself , this evokes a natural inner confidence. Through a proper regime of lifting weights you can feel confident about your body even in a bikini string (if you happen to be in
Brazil on Ipanema Beach) - and say goodbye to feeling
Here’s the main point – strength training is an excellent way to build greater self-confidence. Start today, set clear goals, enjoy the process and you will be amazed at the results!
And if I can help you on the journey let me know.
All the best,
